Look! I can scrapbook!

Once in a while - a very long while - I actually get the urge to do some scrapbook layouts. Today, I got crafty with a friend of mine and we started working on the layouts from the Happy, Happy Holidays promotion from CTMH.

I definitely need instructions for scrapbooking and love the fact that CTMH packages up everything nice and neat with everything you need to do the layouts. I did ALL of these today AND helped my friend organize all of her bits and pieces for each of the layouts as well!

I'll be adding photos to these later. I haven't decided yet if I'm keeping these for me to scrapbook this year's Christmas photos or if I'll gift them to someone who might like to have them (and the pretty red scrapbook they will be put into)

CTMH December Promos

Hi folks,

Well, December is well under way so I thought I should pop in and share this month's promotions from Close To My Heart.

I'm looking forward to creating with December's Stamp of the Month - "Thoughtful Flowers".

I think this set has so many possible uses - feminine birthday cards, thinking of you cards for your besties, Mother's Day, Thank You cards (perfect for the holiday season), sympathy cards.

Below is a sample from CTMH Home Office

Love the look of the different coloured inks - a real time saver when you don't have time to colour.
As always, you can pick the stamp set up for regular price or, with a qualifying purchase, for a discounted price.

And this month's special promo "It's the Little Things" helps you to showcase your special memories in a mini format at a 30% discount off the regular price!

The Blush and Blue Jean Instalife Albums are available in bundles with coordinating #Life and Overlay cards as well as 4 x 4 and 2 x 2 page protectors.

CTMH Happy Holidays Card Kit and more

Hi folks,

Back in October when I attended the Algonquin College Pajama Crop, I pulled out the Happy Holiday card kit from CTMH and got to work making this year's Christmas cards.

Below is a photo of the kit contents - paper from the City Sidewalks collection, an exclusive stamp set, shimmer trim and card bases and envelopes.

And these are the cards suggested to be made by the workshop instructions.

I DID make the suggested cards - but of course wanted to make them all just a little different. And then I pulled out some additional City Sidewalks paper to make a few more cards based on this design.  Are you ready? Here they are - all 34 of them!

For these cards I pulled out the City Sidewalks Complements and added a little bling. I also grabbed the stamps from the Cozy Christmas bundle.

And for these I added more of the City Sidewalks papers and some different stamps.

And this one - tossed together from some scraps lying around on the crafting table.

Now THAT'S how you build your Christmas card stash!
